Connex Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic team of primary supply Teaching Assistants around the Halton area.
Connex Education have a long-standing tradition of creating a platform for Teaching Assistants to gain invaluable teaching experience during the summer term and beyond.
As an Teaching Assistant you will have the opportunity to gain experience in multiple primary schools around Halton, while at the same time, putting you in good stance for potential long-term roles!
About the Schools:
Connex Education work in partnership with multiple primary schools around Haton area. The schools generally require day-to-day sickness cover, part-time cover (half-days or 3 days per week), and long-term cover to recruit for permanent/temporary vacancies. This could be working in EYFS, KS1 or KS2, working 1-1 with specific pupils or group interventions.
We work in partnership with primary schools in the following areas:
- Widnes
- Runcorn
About the role:

The following are the type of bookings that will be available for you:
- Nursery cover
- Daily sickness and course cover.
- Part-time job-share bookings.
- Full-time bookings to cover sickness, maternity etc.
- 1-1 or intervention roles.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to make a difference and inspire.
- Strong classroom management.
- Experience teaching in primary schools or on placements.
- DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through us.
- Ability to provide 2 references.
