✨ Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate, qualified teacher to provide high-quality one-to-one home tuition to students of varying ages and abilities. This role is ideal for educators who thrive in a personalized learning environment and are committed to helping students achieve their full academic potential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored lessons in line with the national curriculum or specific learning goals
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Prepare engaging and age-appropriate learning materials
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and careers regarding student development
- Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating learning atmosphere
✅ Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
- Proven teaching experience in a classroom or tutoring setting
- Strong subject knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable
- Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) students
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and hybrid learning models
- Flexible availability, and a commitment of 10 hours per week
