Role: BSL Teaching Assistant
Rate of pay: £400 – £450 – Dependant on experience
Location: Northfield

Are you passionate about education and supporting students? Being a BSL Teaching Assistant is more than a job—it’s a chance to make a real impact. You’ll provide vital 1:1 support to students who use British Sign Language, helping them access learning and build confidence. Connex Education is seeking a dedicated BSL Teaching Assistant to support SEN students in a school setting.

**Role Requirements**
- Knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL) is essential.
- Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of Makaton would be beneficial.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
