Are you a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher looking for your next opportunity? Unsworth Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join our team from September 2026. This is an exciting temp-to-perm position, offering the chance to build a long-term career with us.

The Role
- Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 to all year groups
- Deliver high-quality lessons to classes of approximately 30 students
- Work within an inclusive classroom environment — SEN pupils are supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant
- Take full responsibility for lesson planning and preparation in line with the school curriculum
- Carry out regular and meaningful marking and assessment to track student progress
- Contribute to departmental planning, reviews, and any relevant school initiatives
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) — essential
- A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
- Ability to teach confidently across KS3 and KS4
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to break down complex concepts
- A patient, positive, and nurturing teaching style
- Experience of or willingness to work with students with Special Educational Needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to high standards and continuous professional development
