An excellent Mansfield High School is seeking a qualified physics teacher to join their science department. As a physics teacher, you will be responsible for teaching various physics courses to students from Years 7-11.

Job Responsibilities – Physics Teacher:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans on topics such as motion, energy, electricity, magnetism, thermodynamics, and modern physics.
  • Use a combination of lectures, discussions, hands-on labs, and demonstrations to bring physics concepts to life.
  • Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, labs, and projects.
  • Foster an appreciation for physics and curiosity about the natural world.
  • Collaborate with other science teachers to ensure curriculum aligns with state standards.
  • Stay up to date on developments in physics education and instructional best practices.

Qualifications – Physics Teacher:

  • Teaching certification/ Physics qualification
  • Strong background in physics topics typically covered in high school curriculum.
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably in high school physics
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Enthusiasm for physics and passion for bringing complex concepts to life.
