Primary Teaching Assistant – London, Waltham Forest
£85 per day
We are looking for someone with experience of working in primary school environments or as a teaching assistant. We will also consider applications from candidates who have transferrable skills from other careers. We require Teaching Assistants on a flexible basis to start immediately. In this role you will be expected to be available at least three days per week between the hours of 8.30-3.30. This would suit candidates who are looking for part-time/flexible work as well as candidates who are looking for a potential school for a long-term role. Many of our current teaching assistants in long-term bookings started out by doing the role on a supply basis through Connex on our flexible rota.

As a Teaching Assistant you will possess:
- Experience preferably in a primary school or similar environment with young people
- Awareness and understanding of useful strategies, such as; language/social skills, emotional well-being and behaviour management.
- Dedication to become part of the school team community
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new check
