Connex Education are supporting a mainstream primary school in Wakefield in appointing a KS1 Teacher.
About the school
The school is and is part of a multi academy group and is looking for a KS1 Teacher to cover maternity leave for their class teacher. You will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive classroom for pupils whilst inspiring them to achieve their full potential. The school Is looking for a KS1 Teacher to work in their Year 1 class.
Assignment details
This role is long term assignment starting September 2025 – April 2026 with the potential to continue further.

Person Specification
- Have experience working in KS1
- Use of phonics programmes
- Have high expectations of themselves and others
- Have good communication skills
- Be confident in creating a nurturing classroom environment
