About the role
Connex Education is proud to be working in partnership with a primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit an experienced and committed Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will support the class teacher with behaviour management, provide additional learning support, and assist with a wide range of classroom activities. You will work closely with pupils to reinforce key learning, deliver one-on-one support where needed, and contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports every child’s development.

Assignment details
- Work across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting.
- Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom behaviour management.
- Provide individual or small group support to reinforce learning.
- Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
- Help with tracking pupil progress and identifying areas for additional support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils in developing both academic skills and social-emotional growth.

Person Specification
- Aged 18 and over
- C or above in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
- EWC registered
