SEND Teaching Assistant

Pay: £450 – £500 per week (dependent on experience)
I am working with a SEND school in Waltha Forest, who are in need of passionate SEND Teaching Assistants to start either ASAP or in April, working full time.
The school itself caters for pupils with varying additional needs, including Autism and Severe Learning needs, aged between 2 and 19. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be supporting students across school both inside and outside of the classroom. Staff at this school work together to ensure students needs are met, whether they be academic, social or sesnory, in a nurturing and engaging environment.
The school are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team immediately, to ensure students are comfortable. happy and cared for correctly.

Person Specification:
- Have experience of supporting pupils with special education need and disabilities (SEND) either in an education or care setting.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- Be confident in working with challenging behaviour.
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one.
- Any relevant qualifications would be advantageous, however not a necesity.
