About the role
Connex Education are seeking an experienced general Secondary School Teacher to join our team.
This is a long term, full-time appointment, commencing as soon as possible in September with the view to continue for the full academic year for the suitable candidate. The salary is payable from MPS1-UPS1. Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career including Early Career Teachers.
Our client is seeking to appoint a committed & enthusiastic teacher who enjoys working as a member of a team and is constantly seeking ways in which they can improve on their current practice. A positive attitude towards the use of IT is essential. The successful applicant will have good self-organisational skills.
The successful applicant will be working across KS3 and KS4 teaching a varied timetable therefore a subject specialism is an advantage but not a necessity.
Assignment Details
This role will start as soon as possible and will last until the end of the academic year.

Person Specification
- Previous experience working in a challenging secondary school environment is advantageous.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- QTS / QTLS or equivalent
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one.
- An outstanding practitioner with high expectations.
