Tuition in Partnership (TIP) Programme
More than ever tutors are playing a crucial role in pupil’s learning. As attainment gaps widened it became apparent to us that a specialist intervention & tuition service was needed on a national level.
Our partner schools clearly agree, with many now preferring specialist tutoring sessions for targeted learning outcomes rather than the more traditional in-classroom support.
Tutoring sessions are delivered outside of the normal classroom environment but always aligned to normal teaching/curriculum.
For our teacher community, tutoring is seen as an increasingly attractive proposition providing additional income, the flexibility of work, a focus on those pupils that need the most support and the opportunity to have a real impact with smaller group sizes.
Tutoring sessions can be delivered during the normal school day, on school premises, over a few hours or multiple sessions over a whole school day. They can also be delivered out of hours or in a pupil’s home. Sessions can be delivered face to face or via our online tutoring platform (don’t worry you’ll be trained on how to deliver online sessions and use the platform).
We offer full “Tutor Preparedness” induction, skills and curriculum development for any suitably qualified teachers (it’s not for everyone), who want to become excellent tutors. We also offer optional fortnightly tutoring specific webinars.
