Role: KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Bootle, Sefton
Salary: £500-525 per week (depending on experience/qualifications)
Working Days: Monday-Friday, 8.15am-4pm
Connex Education are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable teaching assistant to join our agency in Liverpool. We are working closely with a fantastic primary school located in Bootle who are seeking a KS2 teaching assistant to join their team to provde general support accross several KS2 classes.
Working on a full time basis starting after Easter in April 2025, this will be on a temporary basis to June half term in the first instance, but with a view to extend until the end of the summer term for the right person. You will be working with a fantastic team of teachers and support staff in Y4 & Y5, and will have access to a range of training through Connex Education.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential as you can access full training/qualifications with Connex.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning.
- Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Experience working with pupils with ASD very desirable.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
