Our Approach to Safeguarding & Compliance
As you’d expect from us, we are uncompromising in our approach to safeguarding and compliance. We strictly adhere to Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), Safer Recruitment, REC Audited Education, National Tutoring Programme and DfE requirements. Our compliance process is managed by a dedicated team of compliance officers and led by a DSL.
Our rigorous selection, registration and clearance processes are designed to ensure that only those who meet our standards and who are suitable to work with children and young people are cleared for work.
We select only the best, most suitable people as candidates and each term we reject many applicants who don’t meet the exacting standards we set for working within our schools.
All staff placed by Connex Education Partnership have first completed free safeguarding training through our sister company Thirsty Scholars Partnership. They are also authorised audited and authorised by our compliance team, which then ensures that on-going monitoring and renewed vetting take place, supported by our bespoke recruitment software.
Connex Education Partnership is also a fully compliant member of the REC.
