Connex Education is currently seeking x3 primary teaching assistants to join a supportive team in an excellent primary school in Southport from September 2025, with a specific focus on assisting children with special educational needs. The school are seeking dedicated, compassionate and adaptable teaching assistants who can build a good rapport with both staff and children.

About the role:
The school are currently seeking adaptable and experienced teaching assistants who can support children with SEN on a 1:1 basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are happy to work between different year groups throughout the day. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver targeted support and tailored learning strategies that help pupils thrive. The school are also seeking an energetic and enthusiastic teaching assistant to provide general support in a Reception class.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
