**About the role**
Connex Education is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Lichfield. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs by providing 1:1 and small group support. You’ll help pupils build confidence, manage emotions, and engage in learning, while promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where every student can thrive. Pupils will view you as a key point of contact, so the ability to build strong, trusting relationships is essential.

**Role Requirements**
- Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is desirable.
- Previous experience working in Educational is desirable.
- Team Teach is Desirable
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
