SEND PPA Cover Teacher

About the role:
Connex Education are working with an outstanding Primary SEND School in Liverpool who are looking for a Teacher/HLTA to join their team in September.
About the School:
This maintained Special School caters for pupils 5-11 years with social, emotional mental health issues and those who are neurodivergent. They provide pupils with an attachment and trauma responsive environment. The whole staff team at this innovative School work to provide the best outcomes for pupils, families and the community.
Assignment details:
This role will commence in September 2025 and is to cover PPA around the School. It will be for the whole academic year with the view to a direct contract after 1 term. The hours are 8am-3pm/4pm Monday-Friday. Planning will be provided. You will have support from LSAs in each class.

Person specification:
- Experience of Teaching pupils with SEMH either in a SEND or mainstream School
- Be able to manage behaviour and uphold expectations of the class teacher
- Be adaptable and able to quickly build a trusting relationship with pupils
- Able to communicate well and be patient.
- Be familiar with EHCP’S
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
