About the Role:
Connex Education are working with a SEND school Chester who are looking for Autism Specialists / SEND Teaching Assistants to work on both a full time and part time basis.
About the School:
The school cater for students with Autism. Equipped with state of the art facitilies, including a working kitchen, out door play equipement and sensory rooms on site, all staff strive to promote as much independence as possible. Teaching Assistants are required to support students both inside and outside of the classroom throughout the day, although remaining in the classroom is encouraged, students may leave if they feel the need too. The school need a Teaching Assistant who is hard-working, resilient and is passionate about SEND.
Assignment Details:
The school is looking for a TA to start as soon as possible, and I will be looking to speak with applicants as soon as possible. This is a long term role and will continue into the new academic year. The school are also interested in speaking with those who are able to commit to a September start.

Person Specification:
- Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs either in a School or a similar setting
- Be confident providing personal care
- Experience working with Early Years would be advantageous, yet not essential
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
- Be able to provide 2 references
