About the role
Connex Education is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Pembrokeshire. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in education and a commitment to maintaining high standards of learning in the absence of the class teacher. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering pre-set lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring pupils stay engaged and on task. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and make a meaningful impact on students’ learning across a range of subjects.

Assignment details
- Work across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting classroom teaching and maintaining continuity of learning in the teacher’s absence.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage the classroom effectively to ensure students remain on task.
- Provide clear and timely updates to the class teacher, including feedback on student progress and behaviour.
- Report both positive and negative behaviours in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students and staff to contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.

- Degree qualification
- DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
