About the role
Connex Education is working with a number of excellent primary schools in and around West Bridgford (NG2), who are seeking Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a regular supply basis. These roles include classroom support across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, as well as opportunities to work one-to-one or in small groups, depending on each school’s needs.
We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are flexible, approachable, and confident in supporting learning and behaviour. You’ll be working within welcoming school communities that value the contributions of their support staff and aim to provide a high-quality learning environment for all pupils.

Staff are supportive and work collaboratively to improve pupil outcomes and maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere. They are seeking Teaching Assistants who are committed to helping children thrive academically and emotionally, and who can integrate smoothly into a variety of classroom settings.
Assignment Details
These roles are available for 3 to 5 days per week, starting in September, and will continue throughout the autumn term, with the potential for ongoing work.

Person Specification
• Experience working with children aged 4–11 in a UK primary school setting
• Effective communication and behaviour support skills
• Understanding of classroom support strategies and primary curriculum
• Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc. is desirable
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
• Must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
