About the role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will support the class teacher with behaviour management, deliver targeted instruction, and assist in a range of classroom activities. The ideal candidate will work closely with pupils to reinforce learning, provide one-to-one support, and help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Assignment details
A primary teaching assistant you will be working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You will support the class teacher by helping with lesson delivery, managing classroom behaviour, and providing individual or small group support to pupils. You will assist in preparing learning materials, monitoring pupil progress, and creating a positive, inclusive environment. Your role is essential in helping young learners develop foundational skills, supporting both academic and social-emotional growth.

Person Specification
- Aged 18 and over
- C or above in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
- EWC registered
