Makaton Tutor for Children with Autism

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Proven experience working with pupils with Autism, PMLD, and complex learning needs.

A dynamic, creative teaching style, with the ability to tailor learning to each individual child.

Confidence in identifying areas for development and adapting resources accordingly.

Experience with PECS and a solid understanding of alternative communication strategies.
-
A driving licence is preferred but not essential.
-
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
