About the role:
Connex Education are working with a fantastic SEND School in Liverpool who are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team in the new academic year (September 2025).
About the School:
This School aims to provide outstanding Educational provision to pupils aged 11-19 with SLD,PMLD and additional needs including Autism. All staff have the best interests of pupils and have a deep understanding of their needs by working closely with parents and carers.
Assignment details:
This SEND Taching Assistant role will consist of working in the Autism pathway and will commence in September on a temp-perm basis.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting children or young adults with Autism in a School or residential setting
- Be able to provide pastoral support, build relationships with students and help them to be the best version of themselves.
- Able to communicate well and be patient as well as bring self-regulated and calm.
- Be able to interact well with pupils and staff and able to work well as a team.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
