SEND Teaching Assistant
£425-£500 per week depending on experience
Connex Education are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in Secondary school located in Greater Manchester, Bolton BL3

This fantastic SEND School aims to provide an outstanding educational provision to pupils aged 11-19 years who have Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, Physical Disability, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
Assignment details:
From September Monday to Friday , regular on going days
The hours are 8.30/ 8.45am – 3.30/ 3.45pm Monday-Friday.
Person specification:
- Experience of supporting children or young adults with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties in a School or residential setting
- Be able to get to know pupils and get a good understanding of needs.
- Able to communicate well and be patient as well as being self-regulated and calm.
- Be able to interact well with pupils and staff and able to work well as a team.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
