About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a SEND School in Fazakerley to recruit a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team in the upcoming academic year.
In this rewarding role, you will provide tailored support to a pupil with Autism, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally. You’ll work closely with the wider school team to create a calm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient and experienced in supporting children with additional needs

This fantastic purpose- built SEND School caters for pupils aged 11-19 with Autism and additional needs.
Assignment Details
This 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is full-time, Monday to Friday, (8:45am to 3:45pm), starting in September 2025 and continuing for the academic year.

Person Specification
- Experience of supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs.
- Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help children self -regulate.
- Promoting life skills and empowering pupils by building confidence.
- Be engaging and using a person-centered approach.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
