Role: Year 5 Teaching Assistant
Location: Southport
Salary: £250-£350 per week (part-time)
Working Days: (x5 mornings & x2 afternoons per week)
Connex Education is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and compassionate teaching assistant to support a child on a 1:1 basis. The role requires a teaching assistant who has experience supporting children with ASD.

About the role:
As a Year 5 teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support to a child with special educational needs in Year 5. The child is high-functioning and experience supporting children in Key Stage 2 is desirable. The role may be for the entire academic school and there.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
