Role: Year 3 Teaching Assistant

About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a Primary School in Birkenhead to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Year 3 with SEN (Special Educational Needs).
You will be supporting the child throughout the school day, helping them to access the curriculum and engage with learning in a calm, structured, and nurturing environment.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, proactive, and experienced in working with children with additional needs.

Assignment Details
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, (8:30am to 3:30pm), starting ASAP and continuing for the academic year.

Person Specification
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification; however, those with relevant school experience will be considered.
- GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English.
- Experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting.
- Experience supporting children with SEN.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
