About the role
- Leading and managing non-teaching operations including premises, health & safety, administration, and compliance.
- Overseeing site maintenance, cleaning, catering, and security to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Managing budgets and procurement in collaboration with the Principal and Finance Team.
- Supporting HR processes, recruitment, and staff wellbeing initiatives.
- Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance across all operational areas.
- Building strong relationships with external contractors, local authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement across the academy.
Role Requirements
- Demonstrated track record in operational management, facility oversight, or business administration—preferably gained in educational institutions or public service organizations.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities coupled with superior organizational abilities and effective communication across all levels.
- Forward-thinking problem-solver who anticipates challenges and delivers practical solutions while maintaining meticulous standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of health & safety protocols, child protection policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Sound financial judgment with proven ability to oversee and manage budgetary responsibilities effectively.
- Competent user of contemporary digital platforms and office applications (including Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative tools like Teams).
- Genuine dedication to fostering inclusive environments, operating with unwavering integrity, and inspiring excellence in all endeavors.
