Motor Vehicle Tutor for SEMH School

Connex Education are seeking a Motor Vehicle Tutor to work in a Secondary Academy SEMH school located in Horwich Bolton Greater Manchester.
The role will be teaching both KS3 and KS4 pupils in vocational department.
About the School:
This Academy is an educational provision for pupils aged 11-16 years. All pupils have an Education Health & Care Plan and have been excluded from mainstream school.
The schools has a bespoke timetable of social and emotional development, mental health well-being and academic progression. They create a calm and engaging environment where pupils progress. Person specification
- The role will be teaching both KS3 and KS4 pupils in vocational department.
- Experience of supporting children and young people struggle to manage their emotions, behaviour, and relationships, which can impact their learning and overall well-being Be able to get to know pupils and get a good understanding of needs.
- Excellent communication skills, Empathetic and Patient , being self-regulated and calm. With a positive supportive attitude.
- Knowledge of SEMH Understanding of SEMH issues, strategies, and interventions.
- Be able to interact well with pupils and staff and able to work well as a team.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
