About the role:
Connex Education are seeking SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a flexible basis at a SEND High School in Liverpool who cater for pupils with Autism, SLD,PMLD.
About the School:
This purpose built School is the heart of the community and they aim to provide an outstanding provision to all pupils. They offer a holistic approach and as a SEND Teaching Assistant at this School you will be providing emotional, social and acdemic support as well as promoting life skills and independence.
Assignment details:
This role will be to cover sicknesses, planned absences as and when needed so you can choose how many days you would like to work. The hours are 8.45am until 3.45pm. There is an opportunity for a direct contract for the right candidate.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting children or young adults with special needs in a School or residential setting
- Be able to assist with personal care
- Able to communicate well and be patient as well as being self-regulated and calm.
- Be able to interact well with pupils and staff and able to work well as a team.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
