Teaching Assistant
£425 – £550 per week (dependent on experience and length of time in role)

I am working with a specialist school in Widnes who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant / Support Worker to join their team on a full time basis- working Monday – Friday, 8.30am until 3.30pm.
Equipped with out door play equipement, sensory rooms and a swimming pool on site, all staff strive to promote as much independence as possible. Teaching Assistants are required to support students both inside and outside of the classroom throughout the day. The school need a Teaching Assistant who is hard-working, resilient and is passionate about SEND.
The school is looking for a TA to start immediately, and I will be looking to speak with applicants as soon as possible. This is a long term role, with the possibility of continuing throughout the academic year.

Person Specification:
- Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs either in a School or a similar setting
- Be willing to provide personal care Be confident in working with challenging behaviour
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
- Any relevant SEND qualifications would be advatageous, however full training will be given
