Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Netherton, Sefton
Salary: £425-£450 per week
Working Days: Monday to Friday (8.30am-3.30pm)
Connex Education is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and compassionate KS1 teaching assistant to provide group interventions and general suppport. The role will require a teaching assistant with experience supporting children who need encouragement participating in all aspects of school life.

About the role:
As a KS1 teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and KS1 lead to provide tailored interventions with several pupils across Y1 & Y2, as well as general support across all classes within this key stage. The role requires a consistent, reliable, and adaptable TA who can contribute to building a positive school environment. Experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or experience with KS1 pupils in a educational setting.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
