About the role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming Primary Schools in the Mickleover (DE3) area, who are recruiting for KS1 Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis. This role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days: delivering lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils’ progress. No lesson planning is required.

Assignment Details
These roles are available immediately, with options for 3–5 days per week. We are also recruiting for January starts to cover planned absences and long-term supply needs. Positions will run throughout the autumn term and into the new year.

Person Specification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with children aged 4–7 in a UK primary school
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
• Knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum and phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc or Letters and Sounds
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
