Connex Education is proud to be supporting a wonderful Primary school in Warrington as they seek a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team mmediatley this role is working alongside the class teacher in a Reception class.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8.30-3.30pm , You will be assiting the class teacher and working closley with the EYFS team, throughtout the day you will take small groups of pupils to assist with guided reading and phonics sessions. Experience of read, write. Inc would be of advantage but not essential as school training will be provided. You may on occasion be asked to work some part of the working week to provide some 1-1 support to a couple of the pupils with SEN sharing the responsability with the employed 1-1 TA , experience working 1-1 is also desirbale. This role will continue to be advertised until a suitable experienced candidate is sourced.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing tailored 1:1 support to a child with a range of SEN needs
- Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to ensure pupils thrive
- Helping to create a nurturing, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Assisting with routines, smooth transitions, and personalised support plans
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with EYFS and SEN pupils
- A patient, caring and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
