About the role
Connex Education is working with a Secondary Schools in South Leeds and assisting them in recruiting a Geography Teacher to work full- time from January 2026 – July 2026.

Connex Education are seeking a Geography Teacher for an ongoing temporary position. The School is located in South Leeds area and is part of a well known academy group.
Assignment Details
The role is to start January 2026- July 2026 inititially. This may continue further for the right candidate. The role has the flexibility to be four days per week.

Person Specification
- must be 21 and over
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
- PGCE
- You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
- Have experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school setting.
- Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons across ability ranges.
- Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
