Role: Site Supervisor
Rate of pay: £16 – £18 per hour
Location: Moseley, B13
**About the role**
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist education provider for a Site Supervisor to join their established site team. This is a key operational role, supporting the safe, secure and effective running of multiple school sites and helping to maintain a positive learning environment for pupils and staff.
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, the successful candidate will work independently within school guidelines while collaborating closely with colleagues and external contractors.
**Role Requirements**
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school premises across multiple sites, including:

Ensuring the security, safety and operational readiness of all buildings

Managing repairs, maintenance and grounds work within delegated budgets

Monitoring and liaising with external contractors to ensure work is completed to a high standard

Opening and securing buildings, including shared keyholder and call-out responsibilities

Overseeing health and safety compliance, including COSHH, fire safety, CCTV and working at height
-
Carrying out routine checks of school vehicles, equipment and site infrastructure

Supporting lettings, porterage duties and seasonal tasks such as gritting and snow clearance
**About The School**
We are seeking a reliable, practical and well-organised individual who can manage a varied workload and respond effectively to changing priorities. You will ideally have:

Relevant site supervision, caretaking or maintenance experience

Experience supervising contractors and overseeing site works

A good understanding of health and safety regulations
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
The ability to work on your own initiative and make sound decisions
-
A driving licence (desirable)
Previous experience in a school environment is advantageous but not essential.
