Role: Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Southport
Salary: £430-£450 per week
Working Days: Monday-Friday (8.30am-3.30pm)
Connex Education is looking for an adaptable, nurturing, and compassionate Level 2 qualified teaching assistant for an excellent primary school in Southport.

Connex Education have a long-standing working partnership with this primary school in Southport. The school have a great tradition of taking staff on contract, and there is an opportunity for a fixed-term role being offered to the right candidate.
About the role:
As a primary teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support for children in Key Stage 1. The role requires a consistent, reliable, and adaptable TA who can provide general classroom support in the morning and 1:1 support for a child who requires speech & language support in the afternoon. Relevant classroom experience supporting children with SEN is essential and a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential for this role.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is essential.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
