About the Role
Connex Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated Primary Teachers to work across a network of welcoming primary schools on the Wirral. We partner with schools that are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
Roles are available immediately and offer complete flexibility to suit your lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, or day-to-day supply work, you can choose a schedule that works for you. Many of our placements begin on a temporary basis, with strong potential to develop into long-term or permanent opportunities.
This role is ideal for Early Career Teachers looking to gain valuable experience across a variety of school settings, as well as experienced teachers seeking flexibility, variety, and a better work-life balance.
Assignment Details
You may be offered a range of placements, including:
- PPA cover for full days and half-days.
- Daily sickness and course cover.
- Part-time job-share bookings.
- Full-time teaching bookings to cover sickness, maternity etc.
- Termly bookings to support ECT induction.
- SATS and Phonics intervention roles.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Connex.

- Delivers pre-prepared materials confidently across different subjects.
- Communicates clearly and supports pupil engagement.
- Observant and reflective, able to recognise and respond to changes in behaviour or wellbeing.
