About the role:
Connex Education are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND High School in South Liverpool that cater for year 7,8 and 9 pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH,SLD and PMLD.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant at this School , you will support pupils academically, socially and pastorally.
Assignment details:
This role will commence asap and will be for the remainder of the academic year with a view to a contract for the right candidate in September when they are increasing . This is a full time role and will consist of working Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting secondary pupils with ASD,SEMH,SLD and PMLD
- Be able to provide pastoral support, build relationships with students and help them to be the best version of themselves.
- Able to communicate well and be patient as well as bring self-regulated and calm.
- Be able to interact well with pupils and staff and able to work well as a team.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
