Connex Education are supporting a mainstream primary school in Batley in appointing an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis.

The staff and parents work together closely to ensure each child achieves their full potential.AS a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a KS1 class and working 1:1 with a child with autism. The school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is able to help create an engaging learning environment for pupils.
Assignment details
This role is long term and to start after Easter April 2026 – July 2026. For the right candidate it may have the opportunity to continue further.

Person Specification
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
- Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent
- Hold previous experience of working with children and young people
- Have experience of supporting pupils with SEN needs
