About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming Primary Schools across DE24, including Sinfin and Alvaston, who are recruiting Primary Teachers for both day-to-day supply and longer-term assignments across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
This role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days and longer-term placements. You will deliver engaging, curriculum-led lessons, maintain a positive and structured learning environment, and support pupils’ academic and social development.
For day-to-day supply, no lesson planning is required. Schools provide clear guidance and resources.

Assignment Details

Schools are generally accessible via main transport links within Derby. Access to your own transport may be beneficial depending on the placement.

Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working within a UK primary school setting (KS1 and/or KS2)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
Knowledge of the primary national curriculum and assessment frameworks
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
