Connex Education is seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join our team in schools across the Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a variety of schools while enjoying flexibility and support as you transition into your teaching career.
Assignment Details
The following are the type of bookings that might be available for you:
- PPA cover for full and half days.
- Daily sickness and course cover.
- Part-time job-share bookings.
- Full-time teaching bookings to cover sickness, maternity, etc.
- Termly bookings to support ECT induction.
- SATS and Phonics intervention roles.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Connex.

- Manages classrooms effectively, maintaining focus and positive behaviour.
- Delivers pre-prepared materials confidently across different subjects.
- Communicates clearly and supports pupil engagement.
- Observant and reflective, able to recognise and respond to changes in behaviour or wellbeing.
- Adaptable, organised, and professional in all interactions.
- Upholds school standards and demonstrates reliability and initiative.
- Punctual, well-organised, and dependable in managing responsibilities.
- Upholds high standards of professional behaviour, presentation, and integrity.
- Committed to maintaining consistency in learning and behaviour expectations.
- Open to professional development and constructive feedback.
