About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of primary schools across Mackworth, Allestree and the wider DE22 area who are seeking flexible Supply Teaching Assistants.
You will be supporting pupils across the classroom, working one-to-one or in small groups, and assisting the teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons.
This role is well suited to aspiring teachers, graduates, or experienced Teaching Assistants looking for flexible work within local schools.

Schools across the DE22 area are supportive, inclusive, and focused on creating positive learning environments for their pupils.
They are looking for Teaching Assistants who are reliable, approachable, and able to quickly settle into new classroom settings while building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Assignment Details
Roles are available immediately, with both full-time and part-time options depending on your availability.
Work will include a mix of day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and longer-term placements based on school needs.

Person Specification
• Recent UK-based experience supporting pupils in a primary school or similar setting
• Confident working with pupils on a one-to-one or small-group basis
• Strong communication skills with a calm and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
