About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and driven Education Resource Consultant to join our growing team in Birmingham. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced recruitment environment and is passionate about sourcing high-quality talent for the education sector.
As an Education Resource Consultant, you will be responsible for attracting, identifying, and placing education professionals into roles within schools and educational settings. From advertising vacancies and headhunting candidates to ensuring full compliance, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Attraction & Headhunting:
- Write and manage engaging job adverts across multiple platforms
- Proactively headhunt high-quality candidates using job boards, databases, and social media
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of education professionals
Screening & Interviewing:
- Conduct thorough CV screening to identify suitable candidates
- Interview candidates to assess suitability, experience, and cultural fit
- Provide guidance and feedback throughout the recruitment process
Compliance & Safeguarding:
- Carry out full compliance checks including right to work, qualifications, DBS’s and references
- Ensure all candidates meet safeguarding and education sector requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records
Candidate Management:
- Build strong relationships with candidates, offering ongoing support
- Match candidates to suitable roles based on skills and preferences
- Manage candidate availability and placement lifecycle
Administration & Systems:
- Keep recruitment systems and databases fully updated
- Prepare and manage candidate documentation and records
- Support reporting on recruitment activity and performance
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, or talent acquisition – Ideally within the education sector
- Knowledge of the UK education sector
- Experience in compliance or safeguarding processes
- Sales or headhunting experience
