I am working with a warm and welcoming primary school in the heart of Knutsford, committed to giving every child the very best start in life. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team on a full-time basis, five days a week.
The role
Support the class teacher in planning and delivering high-quality EYFS provision
Nurture children’s learning, development and wellbeing through play-based activities
Observe and contribute to EYFS progress records and documentation
Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers
Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
What we’re looking for
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (CACHE, BTEC, NVQ or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
- A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Previous experience in a nursery or school setting is desirable but not essential
