Job Title: Qualified Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Start Date September 2026
Duration: 3 days per week (days flexible)
Salary: £150-£240 per day

This school is s secondary school catering for ages 11 – 16 in the Burton on Trent region. The school is ‘Outstanding’ graded across all key metrics on their Ofsted report. The report details aspects such as the schools commitment to the Catholic ethos of the much respected Sir Ralph Sherwin trust, and also the excellent school leadership. Vacancy Details:
- To work as a Cover Supervisor, supporting across all subject areas (where possible, aligning with the specialisms and experience of the successful applicants).
- Ensuring that the pupils are provided with a safe working environment that allows them to learn effectively.
- Completing lesson reviews that provide the returning staff member with information about the classes that have been covered.
- Following and adhering to the schools safeguarding and behaviour policies.
Candidate Requirements:
- Teacher of Design & Technology
- 3 full days per week, days of the week negotiable with succesful applicants
- Mainly responsible for teaching Resistant Materials, so experience and competency in handling machinery is mandatory
- Working with pupils ranging from 11 – 16
