An exciting opportunity has opened for an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join the growing team at Connex Education in our Middlesbrough office, specialising in Education recruitment.
This is a warm, established desk with strong existing client relationships, consistent demand, and significant scope for growth. The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant specialising in SEND, you will:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs)
- Manage and grow existing client accounts while developing new business opportunities
- Source, interview, and place high-quality SEND professionals
- Deliver a consultative, high-quality service to both clients and candidates
- Proactively grow your desk and drive revenue performance
- Become a trusted recruitment partner within the local education sector
This role would suit someone who genuinely cares about delivering an excellent service and thrives on building lasting relationships.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in recruitment, business development, or B2B sales
- Is confident working in a target-driven environment with a proven track record of success
- Has an interest in SEND or a desire to specialise within the education sector
- Is proactive, resilient, and commercially aware
- Enjoys relationship-building and working as part of a supportive team

- Negotiation and objection-handling skills
- Self-motivated with a driven, ambitious mindset
