About the Role

Are you a passionate Primary ECT ready to take the next exciting step in your teaching journey? We are working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools ( Exclusively with the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust ) across the local area, including schools in Yeovil, Sherborne, Crewkerne, Ilminster and Somerton.

This opportunity is ideal for a Primary Early Career Teacher looking to build experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in welcoming, supportive and well-led school environments. Whether you are looking for part-time flexibility or a full-time role, this is a fantastic chance to develop your teaching practice and find the right setting for you.

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, grow in confidence and strengthen your curriculum knowledge while working in excellent primary schools that value and support teachers at the start of their career.

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS.
  • Recent teaching placements or experience within primary school settings.
  • Good knowledge of the primary curriculum and a willingness to continue developing classroom practice.
  • A positive approach to behaviour management and creating an engaging learning environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude.
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex Education.
