Cover Supervisor
Location: Bristol and surrounding areas
Salary: £120 – £150 per day, depending on experience | Weekly PAYE pay
Start date: September 2026

Connex Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors for a variety of long-term and short-term placements starting from September 2026.
We work in partnership with a wide network of secondary schools across Bristol and surrounding areas, offering fantastic opportunities for those looking to build experience, develop their career, or secure flexible school-based work.
Your Role as a Cover Supervisor:

Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes of up to 30 secondary students

Maintain positive behaviour and classroom engagement

Follow school policies and procedures to ensure smooth learning

Support students in the absence of their regular teacher

Create a safe, productive, and inclusive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience is preferred but not essential – full training can be provided

A genuine passion for education and supporting young people

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education)
