Job Title: Cover Supervisors
Location: Lincoln
Start Date ASAP OR September start
Duration: Day to day, ad hoc bookings
Salary: £100-£130 per day
Whether you are looking for work immediately or preparing for opportunities in September, we have you covered. Following the upcoming half term, we will begin receiving a high volume of bookings for the new academic year, including both day-to-day supply and long-term positions across our partner secondary schools.
As we work closely — and often exclusively — with local schools through government frameworks, we would strongly advise candidates to begin the registration process now so we are able to proactively submit your CV for September opportunities as soon as roles become available.
Vacancy Details:
- To work as a Cover Supervisor, supporting across all subject areas (where possible, aligning with the specialisms and experience of the successful applicants).
- Ensuring that the pupils are provided with a safe working environment that allows them to learn effectively.
- Completing lesson reviews that provide the returning staff member with information about the classes that have been covered.
- Following and adhering to the schools safeguarding and behaviour policies.
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
- Degree OR GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both or equivalent Functional Skill Level 2)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with pupils and staff.
- Approachable, able to build respectful relationships with pupils.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting pupil progress and school life.
- Good literacy & numeracy skills to support learning and classroom administration.
- The ability to maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment.
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries within a school setting.
- Adaptable and resilient when working across different subjects and year groups.
- Upholds high standards of professional behaviour, presentation, and integrity.
- Open to professional development and constructive feedback.
- Completed the Connex Education/Academize Effective Cover Supervision training course (access will be provided to all suitable applicants).
- Full enhanced DBS certificate
- Completed the Connex Education Onboarding Process
