Are you a passionate Primary Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming KS2 environment?

Connex Education is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Handsworth, Birmingham, who are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis starting ASAP.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a supportive school that genuinely invests in staff development and pupil success.

The Role

As the Year 4 Teacher, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for a vibrant Year 4 class

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

  • Differentiate learning to support all pupil abilities

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff

  • Inspire children to reach their full academic and personal potential

  • Receive ongoing support and mentoring if you are an ECT

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching within KS2 (Year 4 experience desirable)

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A passion for delivering high-quality primary education

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Two professional references, including your most recent employer
